Intended for the collection of waste discharged from the dredge’s hydraulic grate, it has a structure consisting of floats equipped with internal partitions and manhole for inspection. The opening and closing of the bottom can be operated automatically by a hydraulic device that drives 2 pistons enslaved to a pump controlled by the booster motor.
The bettolina comes complete with protective railings around the entire perimeter and around the material collection tank. Propulsion of the machine is provided by a diesel engine that drives an oil hydraulic motor used for both thrust and directional guidance.
